Arrival and transfer to Galle Face Hotel/ Galadari Hotel Colombo for lunch. Afternoon do a city tour visiting the old parliament, residential areas, and the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall).

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Kitulgala where the famous “Bridge On The River Kwai” film was made. Also, view the water falls St.Clare’s and Devon. Nuwara Eliya, because of it’s invigorating mountain Climate and scenery,is Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort.

Nuwara Eliya Is also the heart of Sri Lanka’s Tea country producing a significant share of The world’s best Tea. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282ft) Is located here. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole Golf courses in South Asia. Afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast proceed to Kandy, enroute visiting a Tea Plantation and a Factory. Lunch at Earl’s Regency Hotel, in Kandy. Afternoon do a city Tour of Kandy

the last capital of Sri Lankan Kings. Visit a Gem museum and lapidary. visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, which was originally the pleasure gardens of the Royalty. Nearly 4000 species of plants are found in this garden and it is encircled by the Mahaweli River. In the evening visit the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic,

The tooth was snatched from the Buddha's funeral pyre in 543 B.C. and brought to Sri Lanka in the 4th century A.D. It was first housed in the ancient city of Anuradhapura but due to upheavals in Sri Lankan history and invasions from South India, it was moved to Polonnaruwa and then to the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy where it remains.

The Temple of the Tooth was built in 1687 to 1707 and also from 1747 to 1782 by the mighty rulers of the Kandyan Kingdom. It is an impressive pink structure surrouded by a moat. The tooth is not on public display but is locked within a series of gold caskets stored behind an ornate curtain. Also visit the Kandy Museum.

After breakfast proceed to Colombo, enroute visiting the Elephant Orphanage In Pinnawela.

, This popular attraction, established as a sanctuary covering 25 acres of lush forest by the Sri Lankan Government in 1975, is unique. Its purpose is to feed, nurse and house young elephants lost or abandoned by their mothers. Recently the sanctuary has also started a breeding programme. Visitors are invited to observe and assist the baby elephants as they are fed from giant feeding bottles, before the pachyderms plod down to the river for their daily bath.

In the evening do a city tour. Visit the A drive through the city will take you to Colombo’s most fashionable residential District – the Cinnamon Gardens and Pettah, Colombo’s busiest and most traditional Bazaar area. Visits to the Hindu temple with elaborate stone carvings, the Dutch Church At Wolfendhal dating back to1749, the Gangarama Temple. While the city holds less obvious interest than many other parts of the island, It’s still a colorful enough place and worth a visit to see what makes Sri Lanka tick
